Recently, certain media slandered China-U.S friendly exchanges at Sub-National level, smeared the Communist Party of China, hyped up Xinjiang-related issues. It asserted the Chinese Consulate General in New York exerted influence over the consular district by advancing sub-national cooperation and articulating 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics Games.The relevant report is total groundless accusation and vicious rumor that attempt to drive a wedge into sub-national cooperation between China and the U.S. We firmly oppose that.

Over the past century, the CPC has kept to its founding aspiration and mission of striving for the happiness of the Chinese people and rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, and the significant achievements are well recognized. Xinjiang-related issue is not about human rights. It's about counter-terrorism and deradicalization. The misleading reports by some western media are totally not in accordance with facts. A lie told a thousand times is nothing but still a lie.
