Chinese Consulate General in New York Hosts a Virtual Celebration of the 73rd Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China

On September 27, the Chinese Consulate General in New York held an online celebration, inviting people from all walks of life in the consular district to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. 

Acting Consul General Jianjun JIANG, Chairman of Starr Insurance Companies and China reform friendship medal recepient Maurice Greenberg, President of the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations Steve Orlins, President and CEO of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy Ambassador Susan Elliott, President of China Institute James Heimowitz, Trustee of West Chester Ohio Lee Wong, President of New York University Andrew Hamilton, President Emeritus and Chief China Officer of the Juilliard School Joseph Polisi, President of Stevens Institute of Technology Nariman Farvardin, President of the New York Film Academy Michael Young, Director of the Nassau County Museum of Art Charles Riley, Executive Director Dance Parade New York Greg Miller, Chairman of China General Chamber of Commerce-USA and President and CEO of Bank of China USA Wei Hu, President of New York Association for the Peaceful Unification of China Yue Ma, Professor of University of New Haven Henry Lee, student at Beijing Language and Culture University Dylan Walker and representatives of Chinese students in the northeast of the United States participated in the event. They all sent their greetings to the people of China and the United States, and expressed hope for enhancing cooperation and friendship between the two countries.
