On November 22, 2022, America China Public Affairs Institute (AmericaChina), USA Table Tennis jointly commemorated the 50th Anniversary of U.S.-China Ping Pong Diplomacy at the Yale Club of New York City. Chinese Consul General in New York Huang Ping attended the event and had a fireside chat with Jan Berris, Vice President of the National Committee on United States-China Relations, and Connie Sweeris and Dell Sweeris, USA Tennis Hall of Famers. Fred Teng, President of the AmericaChina host the event. Virginia Sung, CEO of the USA Table Tennis delivered welcoming remarks. The event was attended by more than 150 guests, including USA Table Tennis Chair Richard Char, Deputy Commissioner of New York State Department of Labor Linda Sun, President of Foreign Policy Association Noel Lateef, Vice President of Asia Society Policy Institute Daniel Russel, Chair of Jewish Committee Relations Council Cheryl Fishbein, Director of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office NY Candy Nip, President of Asian American Business John Wang, Consul General of Pakistan NY Ayesha Ali, Deputy Chief of Mission of Consulate General of Japan NY Akira Endo and Deputy Consul General of Thailand NY Jiraporn Jiranantakij.
