Chinese Consul General in New York Huang Ping Attends the China Day Celebration Parade Festival in New York

On October 1, 2023, Chinese Consul General in New York Huang Ping attended the China Day Celebration Parade Festival organized by the Better Chinatown USA in Chinatown, New York and delivered remarks. Mayor of New York City Eric Adams, New York State Assembly member Grace Lee, and New York City Council member Christopher Marte attended the event.


Huang Ping in his remarks extended warm holiday greetings to all guests. He said that with the joint efforts of all Chinese people including the overseas Chinese, the People’s Republic of China has made remarkable development achievements over the past 74 years since its founding. China is now advancing the rejuvenation of the Chinese nation on all fronts through a Chinese path to modernization, and is bringing new opportunities to the world with its new development. He hoped that all overseas Chinese continue to support and make bigger contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as well as promoting China-U.S. friendship.







Before the event, Huang Ping visited the New York Gee How Oak Tin Association in Chinatown, attended the flag-raising ceremony and had warm discussions with the overseas Chinese compatriots.
