On July 13th, the Chinese Consulate General in New York hosted an art exchange event between Chinese and American youth. Approximately 300 teachers and students from the Beijing Golden Sail Art Troupe and 15 NYC primary, secondary, and Chinese language schools gathered at the consulate. Through music as a medium, they appreciated the blend of cultures and celebrated the friendship between the two peoples.

Chinese and American students jointly presented wonderful performances, including songs, dances, instrumental music, and martial arts. They also experienced cultural activities including calligraphy, handcrafts, sugar painting, Chinese traditional costumes, and enjoyed Chinese cuisine.
