In 2019, Rhode Island’s total trade in goods with China was US$1.03 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 7.2%, imports from China were US$880 million, a year-on-year decrease of 9.5%; exports to China were US$150 million, a year-on-year increase of 8.3%. China is the fifth largest export market and fifth largest source of imports for Rhode Island.
