On September 17, the National Cultural Heritage Administration of China received six repatriated cultural relics and artworks from the Manhattan District Attorney's Office at the Chinese Consulate General in New York. Rao Quan, Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism and Administrator of the National Cultural Heritage Administration, signed the acknowledgement of receipt with the U.S. side. Chen Li, Chinese Consul General in New York, and Colonel Matthew Bogdanos, Chief of the Antiquities Trafficking Unit of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, attended the handover ceremony.

This cooperation serves as a concrete embodiment of the constructive, strategic and stable China-U.S. relationship in people-to-people exchanges and cooperation. This marks the fifth time that the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has returned cultural relics to China.
